Services
Purpose-built for archival practice, our workflows and platform rethink how arrangement, description, digitization, and enrichment get done, so you get rigorous results faster.
Archival processing, reimagined
Archival expertise and advanced technology work together to capture more description, move collections through processing faster, and keep archivists in control of decisions and review.
Optional digitization
Flexible imaging goals, from reference-ready to heritage-grade, integrated into the same delivery path so description and access stay aligned.
Two engagement models
Proven at GFWC
Historiq processed more than 50 cubic feet of GFWC records at approximately one hour per cubic foot, including physical re-foldering, reboxing, labeling, and descriptive work.
At GFWC, Historiq processed archival records at 1 hour per cubic foot—12.2× faster than a cited 12.2-hour composite benchmark¹.
Hours per cubic foot
1 Composite benchmark derived from archival processing-rate guidance published by RIT Archives Processing Manual, MIT Distinctive Collections Processing Rates, and Yale Beinecke Manuscript Processing Manual.
Historiq's work has moved us leaps and bounds forward in our ability to share our recent accomplishments, while at the same time freeing up my time so that I can focus more on research and outreach and less on processing. GFWC is excited to benefit from Historiq's innovative approach, and to learn how new technologies can be of use, even in small organizations like ours.

FAQ
Historiq combines deep archival expertise with new technology that pushes the field forward without compromising archival standards. The result is much more history made accessible in a fraction of the time.
We were inspired by the decades-long processing backlogs that keep too much history inaccessible. We couldn't achieve the impact we imagined with existing collections management systems and traditional archival workflows, so we built our own.
Clients receive regular check-ins and direct visibility into project progress and their collections. We establish priorities together, share decisions and progress clearly, and adapt the approach in partnership as the work develops.
